Recessive

Two Copies Required

Both parents must contribute an allele for the trait to visually express. Single-copy carriers are 100% Het. Examples: Clown, Pied, Albino, Axanthic.

Incomplete Dominant / Co-Dom

Visual Single & Super Forms

A single copy shows visually, while inheriting two copies creates an elevated "Super" form. Examples: Pastel → Super Pastel, Banana, Enchi, Mojave.

Dominant

Direct Visual Expression

Visually expressed with one copy. Super forms look identical to single-copy visual animals. Examples: Spider, Pinstripe.

Recessive morphs (e.g. Clown, Pied) require two copies of the gene (one from each parent) to display visually. Incomplete Dominant / Co-Dominant morphs (e.g. Pastel, Banana) display visually with just one copy, and have a distinct Super form when two copies are inherited.
